Salut.
NED repart un petit coup sur la route pour tester les nouveaux morceaux du
nouvel album qu’ils enregistreront cet été au studio AMANITA.

L’occasion de revoir quelques vielles connaissances et de profiter de
certains évenements exceptionels:

UNIVERSAL SATISFACTION

Après moult péripéties et repoussements de limites temporelles. Le premier album des RUBIKS voit enfin le jour.
Pour faire court les RUBIKS c'est le projet de Andrew DURACELL, Seb Radix de Kabuki buddah et Nico de NED.
Ce disque a été enregistré au supadope factory avec Niko Matagrin et est un effort conjugué de quatre courageux labels.

Il y aura peut être encore quelques concerts des rubiks avant la fin de l'année. Pour l'instant tout ce qu'il y a de sûr c'est la "release party" au CLACSON le 15 mai à LYON (enfin, oullins) avec ZERO et THE GOOD DAMN.

On est tous vraiment content d'avoir réussi à faire ce projet et on espère vous le faire partager bientôt.

DOPPLeR are still on tour in France and doing really good. What’s also great is that for the first time in quite awhile they’re moving around abroad. It will be in december. Go Check ‘em out if you haven’t yet. The concert page is up to date.

Rubiks finally

There are some nice videos of the rubiks to be found on the internet. Clement posted these on the boom boom records website. Clement is a good friend of the Rubiks. there’s one from a great show at la Miroiterie in Paris that our frieds from the gtok gtko collective organized last freezing cold winter. And another one from a show we played at Grrrnd zero with the robocop Kraus.

The album is also finally going to be out pretty soon and gigs are planned in january and february.

BANANAS back in the audience

BANANAS AT THE AUDIENCE decided to not be a band anymore. I was sad at first but then understood it was for the better.

They will for sure stay good friends, they have been forever. And some of them will certainly start some new musical project. And that’s exciting.

Our friend Agathe Max has just released a solo album on XERIC, a division of the infamous TABLE OF ELEMENTS label. The record’s really good. Agathe also released another record some time ago on ANGRY BALLERINA which was also great. It was a live recording at one of the coolest clubs in town, the SONIC. For this one, she used the PWL studios.

She plays shows around here and in New York quite regularly. She also plans to tour Europe in the spring. Get in touch with her if you’re curious to experience a violin blast in your town.

The short tour + recording session with CHAPELLE 59 was really awesome. Thanks everyone. Thanks for trusting us on such a crazy project. We loved every second of fucking shit up and hanging out together.

Saint Etienne

I had the great surprise booking the tour for Kackala to hear that the RAMINAGROBIS in Saint Etienne is still alive and kicking. The girls played an incredible show there and the place rocks for real. Saint Etienne is the future of Lyon!

Serieusement autant je déteste qu’on dise qu’encore aujourd’hui il y a des villes bourgeoises et des villes ouvrières alors qu’on est tous précaires, nivellés par le bas et dans la même merde depuis longtemps.

Autant je trouve que Saint Etienne est toujours et malheureusement sous estime par les cons de quenelles que nous sommes.

Tant qu’on tombera dans le paneau de ceux qui veulent nous diviser pour mieux reigner ça sera toujours autant desolant par ici. 

Faites un effort.

By the way, S.K records has a new band. That doesn’t even have a myspace. Actually you can’t hear what it sounds like at all anywhere because we only improvise. It’s actually Eric from VIALKA , Mirco from LEM PHAGO, the swiss Minutemen and me. It’s called CHAPELLE 59. It’s improv but it’s still like rocking and loud, not the beeping and clicking type. The name comes from the place where we did our first performance without even knowing eachother. A collective house in Brussels with a basement. We decided we liked it so we sat up a little tour in october and a little recording session at Grrrnd zero. We’re still looking for gigs in Switzerland and France so get in touch if you’re curious!
